About Us
Through our School Direct and Apprenticeship programmes we endeavour to provide an outstanding academic and ‘hands-on’ school based experience in a variety of phases and settings. We aim to ensure that our programmes are bespoke to each trainees individual journey into either secondary, special or primary careers.
We also aim to offer employment at the end of the training period for successful candidates where suitable vacancies arise, or assist with gainful employment within our alliance of schools.
Upon successful completion of our programmes, trainees will have the ability and capacity to work in either the secondary, special or primary sector.

School Direct
We are currently accepting applications for our Non Salaried School Direct courses commencing September 2022.
Primary and Special Educational Needs (SEN) Pathways
We will provide:
An outstanding academic (The University of Derby) and ‘hands-on’ school-based experience in a primary or special school setting
A bespoke training package based on Derby University’s outstanding teacher training programme
The support and guidance of an experienced mentor and link tutor
Learn alongside inspiring, passionate, outstanding teachers
Learn to be a successful, confident and effective teacher
Train in a schools that are spread across Derbyshire and Staffordshire, accessing a variety of specialisms
A stimulating learning experience in a variety of schools, contexts and localities
The opportunity to study for Masters credits with Derby University
Teaching Apprenticeship
We are currently accepting applications for our Apprenticeship programme with potential places being available through our SEN pathway. This will be in reaction to our alliances requirement for apprentice teachers.
